Terms of service
The agreement that governs use of Voltframe. Plain language, no traps.

1. Agreement
These terms govern your access to and use of Voltframe’s software and services. By using the product you agree to them. If you’re agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2. The service
Voltframe ingests energy and equipment data from systems you authorize, reconciles it against your utility bill, and returns analysis and recommendations. Integrations are read-only; we do not send control commands to your equipment.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
- Only connect systems and data you are authorized to connect.
- Use the service in compliance with applicable laws and your utility agreements.
4. Data
You retain ownership of your operational data. Our handling of it is described in the privacy policy and any signed Data Processing Agreement, which control in the event of a conflict with this summary.
5. Fees
Fees are set out in your order form or quote, billed annually per site unless stated otherwise. Hardware, where required for legacy buildings, is quoted and approved separately before any order is placed.
6. Recommendations
Savings estimates and recommendations are provided in good faith and reconciled to your bill where verified. They are decision support, not a guarantee of a specific financial outcome.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability and publish status for portfolio customers. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance where practical.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate at the end of the current term per the order form. On termination you may export your data; we delete it per the retention terms in the DPA.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages. Full liability terms are set out in your order form or master agreement.
